Duke Dog-Proof Raccoon Trap

Designed to effectively target raccoons, this fully enclosed trap is safe for use around dogs. The trap features a 1.5˝ steel pipe with a trigger inside that springs the trap. Raccoons reach inside the pipe for the bait or lure, pull back, and are caught. The trap is ideal for use in populated areas where raccoon problems exist. This is the best raccoon trap that I have seen. It has a more sensitive trigger and stronger spring coil so they won't steal your bait and the big ones won't get away. Also it's painted so it won't rust. The copy says the the trap releases on the pull, which is true but it also releases when the trigger is pushed sideways. When the raccoon reaches in they are more likely to push the trigger left or right as they fish for the bait, and that's when it releases where other traps don't. So you're far less likely to have the bait stolen. PS Get the setting tool. This trap is not easy to set without it.
